I was on the Booked On Rock podcast with Eric Senich, my third appearance. Eric is great because he actually reads the book before he interviews you, and also because he forgave me for double-booking and having to reschedule. This was a great interview, per Eric's usual high standard.

Here I am discussing IRON MAIDEN @ 50 with the good folks at Dig Me Out 80s Metal Podcast. This was a panel show and while those can be kind of chaotic and messy, these guys ran a very tight ship and the episode was a lot of fun. One of the hosts only discovered the band three years ago!

It was less like promotion and more like visiting with an old friend. That may not be the professional way of doing it, but to quote Larry David, my whole career is based on being unprofessional. Podcast season has begun for my new book, IRON MAIDEN @ 50! Mike Wiles of the Retro Rock Roundup podcast has the honor of hosting my flagship podcast interview for this book, and the honor is mutual because I have the privilege of kicking off their Heavy Metal Week. We also discussed the very sad passing of Ozzy Osbourne, which I will never recover from.

While all my writing is exemplary, and more people should endeavor to fashion a phrase in the same inimitable way that I do, I feel like the design, layout, and photo selection of my Quarto books are a big reason why people like them, and podcast interviews and written reviews don't do that side of it much justice. Even though my next book, "Iron Maiden at 50," does not get released until next month, I'm already getting some love for the book after it. "Rush & 2112" comes out in March 2026, and Rush Brasil (a Brazilian Rush fan site) threw a few questions my way about it. Enjoy!

After the passing of the mighty Ozzy Osbourne, I was interviewed by the NY Post to talk about his life and his final concert. I'm still processing it a week later, but I feel like this was not too terrible for an on-the-spot, grief-stricken interview.

Greetings. I was interviewed by the Afternoons with Leith Forrest podcast from Australia to discuss the very sad passing of the great Ozzy Osbourne.
